MobilizeGreen is building a new generation of leaders.  The MobilizeGreen Annual Conference and Diversity Career Fair will inspire, motivate, and connect the next generation of environmental and sustainability leaders with employers seeking a talent pool that reflects the rich demographic mix of America’s rapidly changing workforce.

MobilizeGreen should not stop doing this conference. It is an amazing opportunity for the people that really want to be a part of a green organization and really do something to change the world.

Leadership. Equity. Environment.

MobilizeGreen is proud to announce its 2017 MobilizeGreen Annual Conference and Diversity Career Fair that will take place on March 2-4, 2017, in Oakland, California at City Hall.  The theme of this year’s event is:  Environmental Equity: Investing In Diverse Leadership.  Randy Moore, the Regional Forester for the USDA Forest Service, and Dr. Ruha Benjamin, an Assistant Professor in the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University, are confirmed keynote speakers for the event.  For Event One Pager, click here.

Developing the Most Passionate, Talented Diverse Millennials As Leaders to Solve Environmental Challenges So All Communities Succeed.

Finding equitable environmental solutions for underserved communities takes leaders with talent, shared values, and persistence.  Yet, government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses face a continuing challenge of identifying, recruiting, and engaging the next generation of diverse leaders who can help solve environmental equity challenges. It also takes time, effort, and money to develop and engage diverse green leaders.

The MobilizeGreen event will inspire, engage, and will help mobilize the next generation of diverse green leaders to help communities solve equity and environmental challenges. Through thought-provoking panel sessions, workshops, and high-impact networking opportunities, the event will help change the way employers and diverse young people connect for green career opportunities.

Whether you are an employer seeking to recruit environmental talent, you are a student or you have graduated and want a green or environmental job, or you just are interested in discussing environmental equity issues, please join us on March 2-4, 2017.

MobilizeGreen is the curator of the event to encourage new ideas from a cross-section of multi‐generational environmental, sustainability, and green leaders.  MobilizeGreen 's mission is to jumpstart green careers for diverse students who want to change the world.

For the first time, I felt comfortable discussing [environmental equity] issues unapologetically with people who are working very hard to diversify this growing professional field. I left the conference inspired by these leaders, and encouraged to continue on my path of leadership as well.
